B.C. government looking for a cannabis photographer

The B.C. government is currently looking for a cannabis photographer.

The bid, currently open on the BC Bid website, is posted by the province’s Liquor Distribution Branch, which manages the wholesale and distribution of non-medical cannabis.

The LDB is requesting proposals from “qualified and experienced proponents for photography services in the production of images of non-medical cannabis, cannabis accessories and related photos.”

The LDB intends to award contracts to one or more successful contractors.

According to the bid details, the LDB’s marketing department intends to make extensive use of original photography in four categories: LDB, BC Cannabis Stores; BC Wholesale websites and newsletters; in-store marketing including signage, digital displays, brochures, postcards and social media platforms; and other marketing collateral as needed for cannabis operations, brochures, location shots, portrait shots, and magazine publications.

Applications are being accepted until Dec. 7.
